Steinhauer Community Information

Steinhauer is a residential neighbourhood in south west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. "The neighbourhood is named for Henry Bird Steinhauer, a missionary who settled in Alberta during the mid-1800s."

The neighbourhood is bounded on the west by 111 Street, on the east by Calgary Trail, on the north by 34 Avenue. The boundary on the south is a utility corridor located just north of 29 Avenue.

When construction is complete in 2010, the neighbourhood will be served by the Century Park LRT station located to the south in the neighbourhood of Ermineskin.

There has two schools in the neighbourhood, Steinhauer Elementary School, operated by the Edmonton Public School System, and St. Jerome (separate).
